A virtual world where people live, work, shop and interact with others — all from the comfort of their couch in the physical world.
Each person is represented by an avatar; digital currency is used to buy clothes, tickets and many other items.
If the experience of reading an article on the internet is similar to reading a book, then navigating in the Metaverse will resemble a real visit to a Disneyland; in other words, it is an experience.
It has the potential to impact everything from employee engagement to the customer experience, sales and marketing, product innovation, and community building.
